Exhibition Stands: Tech Show London, ExCeL London

Exhibition Stand Builder for Tech Show London

Tech Show London runs 10–11 March 2027 at ExCeL London, bringing five co-located technology events — Cloud & AI Infrastructure, DevOps Live, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, Big Data & AI World and Data Centre World — onto one floor for enterprise IT and infrastructure buyers. We build exhibition stands at ExCeL, in custom wooden construction or on our DUM FLEX™ frame; our work at this venue includes a 54 m² DUM FLEX stand for Questel built around live software demonstrations and a 55 m² double-deck stand for Turkish Technic, engineered as a heavier, multi-level structure for an aviation and MRO audience.

Five Shows, One Floor

A stand here needs to say which of five shows it belongs to

Tech Show London puts five co-located events on one ExCeL floor — Cloud & AI Infrastructure, DevOps Live, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, Big Data & AI World and Data Centre World — so the person walking past your stand may have just left a cyber security hall and be heading into a data-centre one. A stand that reads as generic “technology” loses that visitor in the few seconds it takes to pass.

Name the buyer, not the industry

“Technology company” does not tell a visitor moving between five shows which one you belong to. A stand that states the specific buyer — cloud infrastructure teams, DevOps leads, security buyers, data and AI teams or data centre operators — reads in the time it takes to pass, rather than asking someone to stop and work it out.

Graphics built for a crossing crowd, not a queue

At a single-topic show, a visitor has usually decided to be interested before reaching your aisle. Here, the crowd passing your stand is often on its way to or from a different hall entirely, so the headline graphic has to do the filtering — name the buyer and the problem you solve, and leave the detail for the conversation at the stand.

Data Centre World

Running hardware on the floor is a different build than a screen on a plinth

Data Centre World brings exhibitors with real physical infrastructure — racks, cooling units, UPS systems, cabling — onto a floor that is otherwise mostly software on a monitor. That changes what the stand has to carry, not just what it has to say.

Floor loading and a safe product demonstration area

A rack or cooling unit on display is heavier than the laptop-on-a-counter demo next door, and ExCeL's point-load limits and complex-structure sign-off apply once equipment of that weight sits on the floor. We check the loading figure for the specific plot before the design commits to anything with real mass in it, and file the paperwork as part of the build, well ahead of the week before doors open.

Running hardware also needs its own power and data run, planned at the drawing stage rather than wired in on the morning of the show, plus a product demonstration area sized for a small group to stand and watch without blocking the gangway behind them.

Short Approval Window

A December manual for a March show leaves a short technical window

Tech Show London's Exhibitor Technical Manual opens in December 2026 for a show that runs 10–11 March 2027, which leaves a short run from manual to build for anything that needs sign-off before the floor opens.

A build partner working inside that window can turn the manual's requirements into drawings and a fabrication schedule without the delay of shipping instructions overseas and waiting for a reply.

We work from the manual the day it opens, not the week production is due to start, so a heavier or taller element has time to go through ExCeL's own sign-off rather than being redesigned under deadline pressure.

Built At ExCeL London

We have not built at Tech Show London itself yet — here is our evidence at the same venue

ExCeL London sets its own rigging, vehicle-booking and complex-structure rules independently of whichever show is on the floor; our ExCeL London page covers those in full.

What we have built at this venue

The 54 m² Questel stand at INTA Annual Meeting was built around live software demonstrations on our DUM FLEX™ frame; the 55 m² Turkish Technic double-deck stand at MRO Europe carried the added structural weight and sign-off of a two-level build on the same venue's floor. Tech Show London has not been one of our projects yet, and we say so plainly instead of implying otherwise.

Two short show days, one contact

Tech Show London runs over two days with no quiet opening day to absorb a late delivery. One project manager runs the build from brief to breakdown and files whatever ExCeL's complex-structure rules require for anything beyond a standard shell — not a different name at each stage.

Questions

Exhibiting at Tech Show London: the questions we get asked

When and where is Tech Show London 2027?

Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 March 2027 at ExCeL London, published by the organiser on techshowlondon.co.uk.

What is Tech Show London?

It brings five co-located business technology events under one roof at ExCeL London — Cloud & AI Infrastructure, DevOps Live, Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, Big Data & AI World and Data Centre World — run by CloserStill Media.

What is Data Centre World, and how is it different from the other four shows?

It is the data centre infrastructure show within Tech Show London, where exhibitors bring physical hardware — racks, cooling units, power systems — onto the floor instead of only software on a screen, which changes what the stand needs to carry.

Does a heavy rack or cooling unit on the stand need sign-off?

If the equipment is heavy enough to trigger ExCeL's point-load limits, or the structure around it counts as complex, yes. We check the loading figure for the plot before the design commits to anything with real mass in it, and file the paperwork as part of the build.

When does the Exhibitor Technical Manual open?

December 2026, for a show running in March 2027, per the organiser's exhibitor FAQs — a short window between the manual opening and the build.

Have you built stands at ExCeL London before?

Yes, including a 54 m² DUM FLEX™ stand for Questel at the INTA Annual Meeting and a 55 m² double-deck stand for Turkish Technic at MRO Europe. We have not yet built at Tech Show London itself; those two projects are our closest evidence at the same venue.
