Vets, nurses and practice managers come for the education as much as the exhibition: the 2025 show ran 487 speakers across 30+ theatres and 352 hours of content for 6,729 attendees, and the organiser expects 7,000+ professionals for 2026.
A stand that works as a learning space
A CPD-focused visitor stops for a demonstration counter, a hands-on product trial or a screen running a short clinical session, not a headline slogan. We build this into the stand plan from the first drawing: power and data to a demo point, a surface that survives repeated handling, and sightlines that read from the aisle instead of boxing the demonstration into a corner.
Room for the conversation after the demo
A practice manager or procurement lead who has just watched a demonstration usually wants to sit down and talk, not just collect a leaflet. We build in a semi-private meeting corner or a raised seating area as standard on a stand this size, in custom wooden construction or on the DUM FLEX™ frame, so the demo area and the conversation area do not compete for the same square metres.
Shell scheme or space-only, decided early
The organiser offers two stand routes: a shell scheme package, a pre-built modular stand with fascia and carpet included, or space-only, where the plot is built from scratch. A CPD-focused layout, with a demo counter and a separate meeting corner, generally needs the freedom of space-only or a heavily adapted shell scheme. We tell you early which route the layout you actually want requires, rather than let the choice default to whichever is cheaper on paper.
Two early starts, and a floor that fills in waves
Both days run from 8.15am, built around a lecture programme across 30+ theatres; when a session lets out, the floor fills in one wave rather than a steady trickle through the day.
Designing for the rush between sessions
A stand built for a steady day and a stand built for a floor that empties in waves are not the same brief. We keep sightlines open at the perimeter and avoid furniture that blocks a fast-moving crowd, so the stand reads clearly the moment a theatre lets out, not only when the floor is quiet.

Floor loading in ExCeL's Event Halls runs to 18 kN/m², and a point load above 12 tonnes needs 28 days' written notice to the venue; primary rigging connections into the roof structure are placed only by ExCeL's own rigging team, with contractors fixing to the points they provide. These are venue rules rather than London Vet Show rules, and they apply to every stand in the hall whichever show is on.

Do exhibitors travel from outside the UK to London Vet Show?
Yes. The 2025 show drew attendees from 60 countries, and the exhibitor list runs from large pharmaceutical and diagnostics brands to smaller specialist suppliers. Brief and design calls run remotely on either side of a time zone when the exhibitor is not UK-based.
