Exhibition Stand Builder for the London EV Show
The London EV Show runs 18–19 November 2026 at ExCeL London, bringing together charging hardware, battery and smart-grid suppliers from across the electric vehicle value chain, over two exhibition days. We build exhibition stands at ExCeL, in custom wooden construction or on our DUM FLEX™ frame, with the drawings, the organiser submissions and our own crew on site. Our most recent build at the venue is a 45 m² DUM FLEX™ stand for EKA Elevator at UK Construction Week London.
Get a quote →A floor built around physical hardware
The London EV Show's own segments run from charging infrastructure and battery storage to fleet electrification and smart grid technology. Most exhibitors are bringing a physical product that needs power, floor space and a clear sightline.
Power and cabling, planned before the panels go up
A charger unit, a battery pack or a smart-grid demo panel needs a power supply routed to the right point on the stand, not improvised on the morning of build-up. We plan socket positions, cable routes and load-bearing points into the drawing from the first design conversation, so the demonstration runs cleanly for two full exhibition days.
A surface strong enough for what you're showing
Charging hardware and battery units are heavier and more awkwardly shaped than a typical tabletop display. We size plinths and platforms to the actual product, with the weight and dimensions confirmed early, rather than fitting the hardware onto a standard-height shelf after the build is already drawn.
Built for an international exhibitor list
A large share of the charging and battery manufacturers on the London EV Show's exhibitor list are based outside the UK. That changes how a stand gets built, not just what it looks like.
Ship the product, we build the stand, one point of contact throughout
An overseas manufacturer exhibiting at ExCeL typically needs the hardware shipped in and a stand built and staffed on site, without flying a build crew over for two exhibition days. We work this way routinely: the exhibitor sends the product and the brand assets, our London-based project management and on-site crew handle the design, the build and the breakdown. A single project lead signs off the drawing, meets the delivery and stays on site if anything needs adjusting on the day, so a first-time UK exhibitor is not managing multiple suppliers across a time difference.
Building at ExCeL London
The London EV Show takes place at ExCeL London's West entrance. The venue's own build rules, not the show itself, set most of what a stand is allowed to do.
Our nearest reference at the venue
Our most recent project at ExCeL is a 45 m² DUM FLEX™ stand for EKA Elevator at UK Construction Week London. ExCeL's rigging, loading and arrival rules carry across shows at the venue; the London EV Show's own exhibitor manual, once confirmed, sets any detail specific to this hall. The venue's general build rules are on our ExCeL London page, so we have not repeated them here.
A two-day show, and a stand built to earn its cost back
The London EV Show runs across two exhibition days, shorter than the three-day format it ran to in earlier editions.
What a shorter show changes about the build
A shorter open period does not shorten the build and breakdown programme around it; the drawings and organiser submissions still go in on ExCeL's own schedule regardless of how many days the hall is open to visitors.
A frame built to come back for the next show
What two exhibition days does change is the payoff calculation on the stand itself: a DUM FLEX™ build that comes apart cleanly and goes back into storage for the next show earns its cost back faster than a one-off build would, over an event this length.
Talk to us about the London EV Show →Exhibiting at the London EV Show: the questions we get asked
When and where is the London EV Show 2026?
18–19 November 2026, at ExCeL London's West entrance. Dates and venue are published by the organiser on londonevshow.com.
What is the London EV Show?
It is a trade show and conference for the electric vehicle value chain: charging infrastructure, battery and storage technology, fleet electrification, smart grid and urban mobility, exhibiting to fleet operators, manufacturers and policymakers rather than the general public.
Have you built exhibition stands at ExCeL London before?
Yes. Our most recent project at ExCeL is a 45 m² DUM FLEX™ stand for EKA Elevator at UK Construction Week London. The venue's rigging, loading and hall rules carry across ExCeL shows, and we design to the London EV Show's own exhibitor manual once you are appointed.
Can you build a stand for an overseas charging or battery manufacturer?
Yes, this is routine for us. The manufacturer ships the product and brand assets; our London-based project management and on-site crew handle the design, build and breakdown, so there is no need to fly a build team into the UK.
Can a stand carry the power load for live charging hardware or a battery demo?
Yes, if we know the equipment's power and weight requirements early. We plan socket positions, cable routes and platform load into the drawing at design stage, rather than improvising power and cabling once the hardware arrives on site.
How early should we appoint a stand builder for the London EV Show?
As soon as your plot is confirmed with the organiser, particularly for an overseas exhibitor shipping hardware into the UK — the shipping, design approval and on-site crew all need settling on one programme well ahead of the show dates.
