Exhibition Stand Builder for LAMMA 2027
LAMMA runs 20–21 January 2027 across eleven halls at the NEC Birmingham (Halls 6–12 and 17–20), co-located with CropTec and the Low Carbon Agriculture Show, and drew 45,000+ visitors and 800+ exhibitors in its record-breaking 2026 edition. We build exhibition stands at the NEC, in custom wooden construction or on our DUM FLEX™ frame, with the drawings, organiser submissions and our own crew on site. Our most recent work in the venue's engineering and manufacturing halls is an 18 m² DUM FLEX stand for Bren Power at Smart Manufacturing Week.
Get a quote →LAMMA fills eleven NEC halls with machinery
The organiser's own 2026 numbers set the scale: 800+ exhibitors across Halls 6–12 and 17–20, most of them showing full-size tractors, combines and other space-only equipment, not the small shell-scheme stands common at a tighter show.
Standing out next to a tractor, across a long walk
When the exhibit two aisles over is a genuinely large machine, a stand's height, roofline and graphics at eye level do more work than they would at a show built around tabletop products; we design for that comparison from the first drawing, not as a last-minute fix once the floor plan is set.
Eleven halls also means visitors cover real distance between the machinery zones, the Dairy & Beef Hub and the seminar programme. A stand that reads clearly from the aisle, with its headline visible before a visitor commits to walking over, earns more of that footfall than one that depends on people already knowing to look for it.
What LAMMA's agricultural halls allow for a stand
Halls 6–8 take a working floor load of 20 tonnes/m² excluding service channels — high enough for genuinely heavy exhibits — but rigging and anything fixed to the roof structure goes through the NEC's own rigging department, not a contractor's own crew.
Floor loads built for heavy exhibits
The published floor loading and the 1.2 m column grid on a 30 m spacing in Halls 6–8 set what can sit where on a stand carrying genuinely heavy product, not just a lightweight display. We check that against the exhibit before the design goes final, instead of finding a conflict on build-up day.
Power, data and rigging run through the venue
Electrics and data run from underfloor channels at 6 m intervals, and anything hung from the roof is booked through NEC Rigging, not self-rigged by a contractor's own team. We plan the stand's services and any overhead element around that process, so it is ordered on the venue's schedule instead of discovered as a gap once LAMMA's own exhibitor manual lands.
Farm owners and contractors who already hold the budget
LAMMA's own exhibitor data puts 63% of visitors as the main decision-maker or influencer on their farm, and 38% as farm owners outright — a floor where the person standing in front of your stand can usually say yes.
A show exhibitors keep coming back to
76% of 2026 exhibitors were returning, and 94% said LAMMA is important to their business (lammashow.com/exhibit). On a show with that kind of repeat booking, a stand built to come apart cleanly and go back into storage for the next edition earns its cost back faster than a one-off build.
Our closest reference at this venue
We have not yet built specifically for LAMMA. Our reference at the NEC is an 18 m² DUM FLEX™ stand for Bren Power at Smart Manufacturing Week, in the venue's engineering halls; for a heavy, outdoor-sector exhibit we also built a 54 m² DUM FLEX Outdoor stand for Hailstone at Hillhead, around construction machinery on a quarry floor. Both frames are built to be reconfigured and redeployed at a future show rather than scrapped after one use.
One pass, three shows: LAMMA, CropTec and Low Carbon Agriculture
A single LAMMA pass also covers the co-located CropTec and Low Carbon Agriculture shows, so the aisle outside your stand carries three audiences rather than one.
One clear headline for three audiences
A visitor moving between three shows in one visit reads less of any single stand's messaging than a single-show crowd would. We keep the headline of what you do to one clear line, visible from a distance; the detail belongs in the conversation on the stand, not the fascia.
Machinery, crop science and low-carbon buyers on the same floor
CropTec and Low Carbon Agriculture bring agronomists and sustainability buyers onto a floor that LAMMA alone would fill with machinery dealers and farm owners. A stand built around one named audience and one product story holds up better across that mix than one trying to speak to all three groups at once.
Talk to us about LAMMA →Exhibiting at LAMMA: the questions we get asked
When and where is LAMMA 2027?
20–21 January 2027, across Halls 6–12 and 17–20 at the NEC Birmingham, co-located with CropTec and the Low Carbon Agriculture Show. Dates and halls are published by the organiser on lammashow.com.
What is LAMMA?
LAMMA is the UK's leading agricultural machinery and technology show, connecting farmers, contractors and agricultural professionals with manufacturers and dealers. The 2026 edition drew more than 45,000 visitors and 800+ exhibitors, the highest attendance in the show's 44-year history.
Have you built exhibition stands at the NEC Birmingham before?
Yes. Our most recent NEC project is an 18 m² DUM FLEX™ stand for Bren Power at Smart Manufacturing Week, in the venue's engineering halls. We have not yet built specifically for LAMMA; the venue's rigging, loading and hall rules carry across NEC shows, and we design to LAMMA's own exhibitor manual once a stand is appointed.
Can we put large machinery on our stand?
Yes — both custom wooden construction and the DUM FLEX™ frame can be built around full-size equipment, with floor loads and access planned from the first drawing. Our closest reference for a heavy, outdoor-sector exhibit is a 54 m² DUM FLEX Outdoor stand for Hailstone at Hillhead, built around construction machinery on a quarry floor.
Is LAMMA co-located with other shows?
Yes. A single LAMMA pass also covers CropTec and the Low Carbon Agriculture Show, both held in the same halls at the same time.
How early should we appoint a stand builder for LAMMA?
As soon as your plot is confirmed with the organiser. Appointing the builder early puts the design, the organiser's drawing approvals and the NEC's own rigging and logistics booking on one programme, instead of racing the tenancy dates once the halls open for build-up.
